Question: what if I refuse to vote?

Sometimes I'm faced with two dreadful poems, neither of which I want to see pass their defective, stinking genes on to their hapless descendants.

Is it OK for me to just refresh the page and banish them to the hell from which they undeservedly sprang? Or does this ruin the experiment?

Since I'm sure someone will be curious, here are some examples of dreadful poems:
anything with the word "prong" in it
total non-grammatical gibberish
anything containing "the turned sword covered bodies"
Plus I'm getting somewhat tired of "old but of simplistic precepts"
