I don't see (reproductive) snip-points represented in the source of the voting page.
In http://www.codeasart.com/poetry/how_it_works.html it seems to suggest that the SNIP! is transient and limited just to the "breeding" process, not an HTML tag and doesn't actually appear as a "word".
Just explaining my understanding, so that David might be able to correct me and/or the description (especially as he's limited it to just one snip, fom what I've read).
