It is also important to recognize this is not just a mimic of biology (if it was it would be a failure) it is art. Art is driven by context and its "use" or quality often have little to do with how much sense they make in a vacuum. Marcel Duchamp displayed a bathroom urinal as art and in that context it was. It is not art in my building however. As soon as David wrote the code, the art was complete. Its beauty is what is evolving (or not depending on your opinion). Future versions of the code will create new endpoints, but the first waterlilies have been painted...
