How hard would it be to set up a system that sent people e-mails every week that included any new high-risers. That means poems that, during that week, have risen to the top 50 that have never been there before. This would give the latest good poetry.
Or would this just melt your internet connection? Sending by bulk usually puts the strain on the e-mail server, because you only have to send it once. And you need some mechanism to stop people from seeing others' e-mail addresses (spam crawlers).
Just an in-the-background thought...
