No, it was 1000 "poems", each consisting of 4 lines of 5 words each. The dictionary had a total of 31,000 (+/-) terms in it. Since many words appeared multiple times in the original poems (because of the weightings), I'm guessing there were less than 10,000 different words used. I should have counted; sorry.
The server actually first went up in March, at which point I had 50 or so friends poke at it for a few days to make sure the software was stabled. Then I got distracted and didn't touch it for months. The public relaunch was two weeks ago. The population I used was still the same one from the test, though, in which a total of only 4 or 5 hundred votes were cast.

: 1. How many 'poems' did you start with? Just the 1000 random words and phrases? Where they assembled into a long garbled poem, or just bred into longer ones...
