the "in blood" gene

I've been seeing a lot of the two-word phrase "in blood", often as a line by itself. In that context, it certainly adds to or twists the imagry. Reminds me of that game with fortune cookie fortunes... you add "in bed" to the end of the fortune and all of a sudden it's really amusing:) Unfortunately for me, my fortunes always seem to be something along the lines of "You love children":(
